The 2023 Microelectronics Education and Workforce Development (MEWD) Workshop will be held on January 24th and 25th on the ASU Main Campus.

Our keynote speaker is Dr. Dev Shenoy, the Principal Director for Microelectronics from the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, OUSD(R&E).

The goal of this invitation-only workshop is to bring together experts from academia, industry, and government to exchange knowledge and explore new ideas and directions for tackling the challenges related to trusted and assured microelectronics that pave the way for establishing sustainable domestic microelectronics research, development, and training programs.

The speakers are a small group of key leading voices on the topic. They are from government entities (DoD/OUSD, DoD/DARPA, DoD/ARL, DoD/AFRL, DoC/NIST, etc.), companies (Synopsys, Raytheon, Boeing, Siemens, BAE Systems, and others), national labs (PNNL, Sandia, ANL, etc.) and Arizona’s public universities (ASU, UofA, and NAU).
